Account sign-in
Spark supports email/password sign-in and social sign-in with Google or Microsoft. Each teammate account uses one active sign-in method at a time.
Sign in with a social provider
Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft on the sign-in page. If Spark does not already have an account for that email, Spark creates the account from the provider information.
If your email is already tied to a Spark account that uses email/password, sign in with your email and password first. Then open My Profile and switch the account to the provider you want to use. This consent step protects existing accounts from being linked to a social provider by accident.
Switch from email/password to social sign-in
Open My Profile, review the current sign-in method, and choose Google or Microsoft. After you confirm and complete the provider sign-in, email/password sign-in is disabled for that account.
Use this when you want Spark access to follow the provider account instead of a separate Spark password.
Switch from social sign-in to email/password
Open My Profile and choose Switch to email/password. Spark asks you to set a password before it unlinks the social provider.
After the change, sign in with your email and new password. The previous social provider no longer signs in to that Spark account unless you switch back later.
Reset a password
Password reset is available for accounts that use email/password. If the account uses Google or Microsoft, continue with that provider instead.
To move a social account back to email/password, sign in with the provider first and switch from My Profile.
