• Complete manual provider handoff work.
• Compare appointment outcomes and closeout details.

Review appointment work

1. Open Today.
2. Choose the day you want to review.
3. Open an appointment or activity item.
4. Review the customer, service, risk, value, and suggested next step.

Appointment operations remain part of Today even as Spark activity becomes more outcome-focused.

Understand activity filters

Use filters to focus the list:

• All activity shows the full working set.
• Needs attention shows open items that need provider review or action.
• Handled shows completed items.
• Overdue shows items past their intended follow-up time.

Handle provider handoffs

Some activity items require manual provider follow-up. These can appear when Spark should not act automatically, such as after an opt-out creates a provider follow-up need.

Provider handoff items should read as manual follow-up work. They are not editable Spark-authored outbound drafts and should not be treated as automatically handled by Spark.

Use closeout and outcomes

Today can show closeout information such as appointment count, revenue, no-shows, cancellations, and clients who should have rebooked. Use this information to compare what happened against the day Spark expected and decide what follow-up matters.

If a closeout is still processing, wait for Spark to finish before treating the numbers as final.
